Shipping Protection Policy

What does Shipping Protection cover?

Shipping Protection is a service provided by **PawVot**. It covers delayed, damaged, and lost items that meet the following criteria:

Delay

Packages not delivered by the 30th day after order fulfillment are considered delayed. The compensation for a delayed package is $5 USD.

Damage

This coverage applies to items that are rendered unusable due to clear breakage, shattering, bending (for non-bendable items), crushing, etc. Please note that minor cosmetic damage (such as scratches or dents) is not covered. Compensation for damaged items will be up to the full value you paid for the item(s).

Loss

Packages not delivered by the 60th day after order fulfillment are considered lost. The compensation for a lost package is the full value you paid for the item(s).

Note: The total compensation for any single claim is limited to the actual amount paid for the affected item(s).


How does Shipping Protection resolve your shipping issues?

  1. You select and pay for Shipping Protection during checkout when you create your order.
  2. If your package is damaged, lost, or significantly delayed, you can file a claim by contacting sally@pawvot.com.
  3. Our team will review your claim against our policy guidelines to determine if it qualifies for a payout.
  4. If your claim is approved, a refund will be processed automatically. If it is not approved, we will notify you by email with the reason for the denial.

What are the issue reporting requirements?

To ensure your claim is processed, please adhere to these reporting timelines:

  • Lost Packages: You must wait at least 60 days from the order fulfillment date before reporting a package as lost.
  • Damaged Packages: Reports must be filed within 15 days of the delivery date.
  • Delayed Packages: You must wait at least 30 days from the order fulfillment date before reporting a delay.

All claims must be reported within 90 days of the original order date.


How much does Shipping Protection cost?

You can add Shipping Protection on the checkout page. The cost is displayed in your store's currency and is generally calculated as 1.5% to 2% of your order total, based on proprietary risk factors.
